It may be 8 years old, it may have a giant crack in the windshield, it may intermittently refuse to signal turns, it may squeak and groan when you turn corners, the driver’s side speaker may randomly stop working, and the combined cost of fixing all its little issues may exceed the trade-in value of the vehicle… but its ours.
With the deposit of our back-dated Ontario Child Tax Benefit we were able to pay off our trip to Asia and pay off our vehicle 5 months early. With a little TLC, it’ll make a suitable second vehicle for airport runs and helping with moves. Now to find a suitable primary vehicle that our family actually fits comfortably in… one that we can pay off in 2 years, instead of 4.5!
