Thinking…

I’m glad we had a boy. I can’t wait until I can introduce him to Star Wars…
The other day I was in the mall, and they had a toy Tie Fighter, originally $30, marked down to $13. I almost bought it to put in Benjamin’s room… He’s not quite there yet though.
Is it cool to have fake lightsaber battles with your son? Cause I’m pretty sure we’re gonna get matching lightsabers…

  1. My brother just picked up toy lightsabers (a 2-pack) for his 3 yr old last weekend. His son kept taking the lightsaber from my brother and handing it to me. I think he wanted to have a dual with me more than his dad. Actually he was more interested in continually collapsing the lightsaber and extending it (so basically turning it on and off). I got him a Darth Tater (Mr. Potato Head Darth Vader) for this last Christmas. It was big hit with him. I knew it would be as he came to visit me at work one time and played with the Darth Tater, Spud Trooper and R2 Potatoo that I had on my desk.

  2. It is totally cool to have blade battles with the sons. Kaelan was 3 when we started beating each other, and he got so god by age 7 that I kinda look to pick a fight with the youngest now.. 😉
However, make sure that before they fight, they are tall enough to hold a sword up… 🙂
