Snow Day

Here’s some pictures of the highway to work. I did actually go in this morning. I didn’t want to be the only one who wimped out on the drive-in, so I was up at 5:30, out the door by 6:15, and at the office by 7:00 (it’s usually a 15 minute drive). And I was almost the only one there. The only two people who made it were my boss, and my boss’s boss. Which worked out good for me, cause I got to prove how devoted I was to two of my superiors!…Then they sent me home.

Back down the highway, which wasn’t really a highway by then. It was more like one giant snow drift with occasionally visible tire tracks that might have been lanes. I slipped and slided my way to our exit, drifted down the road to the grocery store and bought some flowers for Nic, and then plowed my way back into our apartment complex — where my parking spot was helpfully filled with a pile of snow by the plow.
I’ll do some work from home this afternoon, but I’ll be doing so in my pajamas, on the couch, while the snow covers the world!
